Qué documentos sí necesitan notario primero
- Necesitan notario primero: poderes notariales, declaraciones de soltería, permisos de viaje de menores, cartas y declaraciones juradas notarizadas, copias de pasaporte, estatutos corporativos, y diplomas y certificados de notas (notarizados como copia fiel).
- Se apostillan directamente, sin notario: certificados de nacimiento, matrimonio y defunción, sentencias de divorcio, registros judiciales certificados por el secretario, y registros de la División de Corporaciones como el certificado de estatus.
- Los notarios de Florida no pueden certificar copias de registros vitales (Fla. Stat. §117.05(12)). Una fotocopia notarizada de un certificado de nacimiento no sustituye la copia certificada de la oficina que lo emitió.
- Los documentos emitidos por el gobierno federal, como los antecedentes del FBI, los apostilla el Departamento de Estado de EE. UU. y no Florida, y no se deben notarizar antes.
- La apostilla es un certificado físico que se adjunta a su original, así que el documento en papel siempre regresa a usted. Un escaneo por sí solo no se acepta en el extranjero.
